Job Description:
The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs invites applications for the Associate Director positions. Individuals will get to work with a vibrant fraternity and sorority community that has a rich and spirited history. We are seeking an individual who will positively contribute to a collaborative and success-driven environment.

The Associate Director will work closely with key stakeholders in various departments across the University. They will also advise at least 2 councils and several chapters and manage the expansion process of the fraternity and sorority community, DEIA initiatives, and supervise two professional staff members.

Reporting to the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, the Associate Director will assist with the development and support of advisors and alumni engagement initiatives. This individual will also assist in overseeing the day-to-operations of the office and ensure there is timely communication.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary advisor to at least two councils and advise five to eight chapters.
  • Advise councils on peer judicial processes and programming and activities.
  • Night and weekend hours are required as related to specific programs and services associated with this position and the department including advising of council executive board meetings, student programmatic activities and training events.
  • Collaborate with Fraternity and Sorority Affairs (FASA) Director on advisor development and support.
  • Train and supervise two full-time program coordinators.
  • Manage the Social Event Registration process for all fraternities and sororities.
  • Maintain a comprehensive calendar of fraternity and sorority events and provide contract management support for fraternity and sorority events.
  • Oversee the coordination and implementation of the FASA Accreditation Program, DEIA programming and education and community new member education programming for all fraternity/sorority members, and the Greek Awards ceremony and the expansion process of chapters to the FASA community.
  • Assist the Director with alumni and advisor engagement.
