What we are looking for
Baylor's Provost Office is seeking organized, detail-oriented candidates for the Coordinator for Provost Office Faculty Affairs position. The Coordinator for Provost Office Faculty Affairs will assist in faculty records management, faculty activity reporting, Administrative and SACSCOC Accreditation Support. Successful candidates will be effective in organization, professional communication, time management, and managing reporting data.
A Bachelor's Degree and three years of relevant work experience are required. A Master's Degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred. A combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of the required degree and/or years of experience.
Applications must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Maintain and update faculty records, ensuring accurate documentation of academic qualifications, professional experience, certifications, and any other relevant data.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external accreditation standards (especially SACSCOC).
- Coordinate and track faculty credentialing processes, including verification of credentials and ongoing monitoring for compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Assist faculty members in completing activity reports that document teaching, research, service, and other professional activities.
- Collect and organize faculty activity data in accordance with university policies, ensuring timely submission of reports.
- Generate reports and provide support for faculty evaluations, annual reviews, and performance assessments.
- Assist in maintaining records and preparing documentation for SACSCOC accreditation reviews and reports.
- Ensure that faculty-related data, policies, and practices align with SACSCOC standards for accreditation.
- Arrange communication and document collection between faculty and the accreditation office to support accreditation processes.
- Provide administrative support to the department, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and organizing materials for accreditation reviews and audits.
- Serve as a liaison between faculty and department leadership.
- Handle confidential faculty information with discretion and in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
- Ability to comply with university policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
