Responsibilities
The Assistant Director of Development for Student Affairs, is a part-time position that reports to the Senior Director of Development, Student Affairs and works closely with the Vice President for Student Affairs and the Assistant Vice President for Campus Development Programs as well as colleagues and leadership across the University. The position has primary responsibility for being the point of contact for new gifts to programs and scholarships up to $25,000.
- As a member of the University Relations and Advancement team, the incumbent is responsible for working in a collegial and supportive manner with other university and college-based directors of development and working with donors to maximize their giving to any or all areas of the University.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university or college.
- Three (3) years of professional fundraising experience in a university development program, non-profit organization or equivalent experience.
- Experience working successfully with individuals, Boards of Directors, and Board committees is preferred.
- CFRE and/or gift planning designation a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Leadership
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Superior interpersonal, planning, strategic and analytical skills. Self-motivated and well organized.
- A disposition for event and hospitality-based cultivation and experience in event planning and management.
- Lead diverse teams to support the operational mission and vision of employers by fostering an ethical, inclusive and collegial work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to support ongoing improvement through courageous, resilient, and catalytic leadership.
- Lead varying initiatives through a collaborative, service-oriented and communicative approach.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
- Salary is commensurate with knowledge, skills, and experience. The University offers excellent fringe benefits.
- The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $42,500 - $43,818 (PTE) per year, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
- This is a part-time position; 20 hours per week; Monday through Friday; may include evenings and weekends.
- The position is currently hybrid (up to3 days remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.

- This position is a sensitive position as designated by the CSU.
