In compliance with SB 1162, Western University of Health Sciences is providing a pay scale for this position. The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.

Job Summary
The Student Affairs Coordinator provides high-level student affairs support, including, but not limited to administrative support to the CVM Associate Dean for Student Affairs, event management, and oversight of the work in collaboration with a diverse audience. The position incumbent is expected to manage and monitor all aspects of assigned duties including, but not limited to, maintaining the office of Student Affairs while serving a diverse audience of guests including prospective students, students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents, donors, community members, and other distinguished guests.
The position reports to and is evaluated by the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs for the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Individuals must possess the knowledge, as well as the following skills and abilities, or be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
1. Excellent computer skills are necessary in order to set up document formats in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and /or similar software tools.
2. Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively interact with administration, faculty, staff, and students.
3. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced office.

Required Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelors degree required.
2. Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform this job satisfactorily.
3. Experience: 3 years of administrative experience preferred.
